The bathtub overflows and shower pans were not tested during the inspection as often times filling the bathtub will take a long period of time and since the overflows are not used frequently the seals often dry-out and leaks occur. Recommend testing the overflows and shower pans for function and leaks.
Functional water flow was determined to the greatest extent possible by flushing the toilet while running water at the shower and/or bathtub, at the sink, and with the dishwasher also running; using all systems or appliances might not have been possible.

Some jurisdictions require installation of low-flow toilets, faucets, and shower heads when real estate is transferred. Home inspectors cannot verify water-using components as low-flow devices if the manufacturer’s statement is not present.
Glass walls, doors, and windows were verified as safety glass where typically required or desired, or noted their absence in Section 4 – Areas of Concern as a recommendation where such glass should be installed.
