Structure Exterior

Many conditions prevent the visual observation of the exterior walls, siding, trim, doors, windows, and utilities, including, but not limited to, vegetation, exterior storage, and parked vehicles. Inspectors do not remove vegetation or move exterior storage or vehicles.

Some exterior lights might have been operated by interior switches, might have been connected to motion detectors, or might have been on automatic timers or darkness sensors.

Some utilities or utility components might not have been visible due to vegetation, exterior storage, or other conditions.
Note that in New Jersey, home inspectors perform a visual inspection only for evidence of the presence of wood-destroying pests and organisms and must refer to them as such. Destructive testing to determine the presence of such pests and organisms is not within the scope of the home inspection.

This inspection report is not intended as a substitute, nor does it serve as a substitute, for an inspection by a licensed pest control service.

Recommend having a licensed pest control service inspect and complete a form NPMA-33 prior to close of escrow.

Please review your pest control report for greater detail concerning presence or absence of wood-destroying pests and organisms.
