Your complete home inspection report is a site-specific, Rooks Interactive Report (RIR) and comes in four sections:
- Section 1 Introduction
- Section 2 Disclosures and reference materials
- Section 3 Descriptions and Information
- Section 4 Areas of Concern
We have created these four separate sections in an effort to make the complete report less cumbersome for you. While we have tried to be helpful by listing specific problems in Section 4 Areas of Concern, home inspection reports should always be reviewed in their entirety.
The background knowledge provided in the various sections of the RIR can provide you with a better understanding of the type and condition of the property as determined at the time of the inspection by Rook Home Inspections LLC.

While many real estate agents will only casually peruse the complete report and, in the interest of time, go straight to Section 4 Areas of Concern to begin preparing a list of requested repairs for you, you should read the complete report before any home inspection time contingency periods expire and certainly BEFORE CLOSE OF ESCROW.
You are reading Section 1 - Introduction now. Section 2 - Disclosures and Reference Materials provides you with legal disclosures, insurance disclosures, and working disclosures about what we generally do and do not do, what we generally can and cannot do, what we generally will and will not do, and what we actually did and did not do at the time of the inspection.
Remember that we are generalist home inspectors in a profession which is governed by the state of New Jersey and the NJ Administrative Code that sets the standards to what we must follow. As such, we know something about everything but everything about nothing, so we are limited in some areas concerning what we can do for you. If you have any questions, or if we can help in any other way at ay time, please feel free to contact us.
