Where visible, we have recorded the manufacturer names, model numbers, and serial numbers of appliances.
Information was taken from the manufacturer’s plates, which sometimes are not visible, have been removed or have fallen off, or are damaged, faded, or otherwise not readable. The very nature of numbers and letters means that typographical errors might occur or that numbers might not have been read correctly. For example, the letter “O” and the number “0” can look the same, as can the letter “l” and the number “1,” the letter “S” and the number “5,” etc. Spaces and dashes might not have been recorded, and preprinted letters and numbers might not have been included.

Because of insurance concerns about personal property, we do not record any information for personal or free-standing appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.) or for non-standard systems (water modification systems, central cleaning systems, etc.), even if they are conveying with the real estate.
If you have any concerns about any appliance, you should consult with a qualified appliance repair professional, the manufacturer’s representative, or the manufacturer.
Using this information, you can check for recalls and safety information using the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) web site and the manufacturers’ web sites.
