Cracks—Many people, particularly first-time home buyers, believe that “cracks” is a four-letter expletive. It doesn’t have to be that way. Click here for helpful information concerning the various cracks that appear in our homes.

Drainage cleanout caps—No attempt was made to locate drainage cleanout caps. They typically are located in sink cabinets, on exterior walls near the kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms, or in the ground near those same rooms. However, if you need to know where the drainage cleanout caps are, consult with a licensed plumbing professional. Such professional will also be able to remove the cleanout caps and determine the overall condition of the interior of the drainage system pipes.

Errors in your home inspection report—As much as we hate to admit it, yes, we are human. And while we do make an occasional error, we like to blame the great majority of them on our computer software and the computers themselves. However, if you believe that there is an error in your home inspection report, contact us immediately. We do understand the time contingencies inherent in real estate transactions, and we can get a correction letter to you immediately upon notification, as long as we agree that there is an error. If we need to revisit the property, we’ll be happy to do that at no inconvenience to you, although you should always feel free to accompany us.
