No discussion of your home is complete without discussing plants. Even those with a “brown thumb” want plants for their homes, typically buying artificial plants for inside and hiring professional gardeners and landscapers for outside.
Vegetation, and the related topics of grading and drainage, typically is the biggest problem for our homes. Finding problems on the exterior grounds related to or caused by water and vegetation is common which may lead to Cracks and/or Mold. Regularly trim back vegetation that grows close to the home to prevent contact with the exterior surfaces. Vegetation contact with the house can trap moisture, allow for easy insect access, and can cause damage to the house. |
